The occasion which was the first of it's kind witnessed the crème de la crème of the Order. The Grand President of Abuja Grand Commandary Brig. General Bona Ugwuja in the company of all Grand Officers described the recepient Dr. Abazu as a young man who's career and achievements is an inspiration to all and transcends all ages as he continues to stamp a touch of excellence anywhere he goes. The Grand President stated that he is not only happy that the Order has honoured this young man, but he's been recommended for higher honours. He therefore commended Dr. Abazu for his contributions towards the good of the Order.
The Worthy President of Maitama Commandary Col.Okey Ifeatu stated that Dr. Chika Abazu is an outstanding youngman whom the Order and the Commandary is so proud of, and therefore deserving of the honour. He advised the awardee to continue to use his Talent, Treasure and Time for the service to God and humanity.
The Hon. Commissioner Dr. Abazu thanked the Order for the award which he dedicated to God. He promised the Order to continue to bring God to bare in his areas of assignment as the life of a Christian should be the Bible others read!
He thanked the Governor of Imo State Most Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma for finding him worthy to serve the State.
